As we continue to navigate through the Covid-19 pandemic we ask that our patrons please be mindful of these guidelines, we want to be able to continue to serve our community in a safe manner.
These guidelines include, but are not limited to:
▪️Per state mandates we ask that all patrons over age 2 please wear a face mask and practice social distancing while in the library.
▪️If you are feeling sick, please do NOT enter the library.
▪️Curbside services will still be available for those not wanting to or unable to enter the library, we will continue to offer this service until further notice!
We appreciate your well patience, and flexibility during all of this craziness. Please keep in mind that this is a unique process for all of us, we are here to help and address any questions or concerns you may have regarding our services! We want to continue to operate in the safest manner possible.
Cortland Community Library is excited to announce that we have received a grant in the
amount of $2,000 through the DeKalb County COVID-19 Response Fund. The money
will be partly used to help cover the costs of safety measures that were put in place in
the library during the pandemic. Additionally, funds will be used to continue to pay for
items such as masks, (which we offer free to the public), hand sanitizer, and cleaning
and safety supplies. Lastly, we have been creating free individually bagged take-and-go
crafts, for all ages, placed in bins outside, so that all community members have easy
access. With the support from the Response Fund, it will help Cortland Library continue
to provide the best service possible to our amazing patrons.
